INSPIRE Fellowship
INSPIRE Fellowship 2022-23, by the Department of Science & Technology 
(DST), Government of India, supports graduate/postgraduate degree holders 
in pursuing doctoral research at any recognized Indian university or institute. 
The selected fellows will be granted funds according to Government of India 
norms for up to five years or until the completion of their PhD (whichever 
comes first).
Eligibility of INSPIRE Fellowship
To be eligible, an applicant must: –
·Be an INSPIRE scholar.
·Secure a minimum of 70% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in aggregate at M.Sc. or 
Integrated M.S./M.Sc. degree.
·Secure the 1st rank at the university-level examination in postgraduate (PG) studies in 
Basic/Applied Sciences, including Engineering, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, 
and Veterinary Sciences from a recognized university or academic institution in India.
·Achieve the 1st rank at the graduate/postgraduate level examination in Medicine 
conducted by a university/institution in India.
