NSP Central Sector Scheme for School Students 
(OBC/EBC/DNT)
The NSP Central Sector Scheme for School Students 
(OBC/EBC/DNT) 2023, facilitated by the Ministry of Social 
Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with State 
Governments and the National Scholarship Portal, aims to 
support high-achieving students in the OBC, EBC, and DNT 
categories financially from Class 9 through Class 12. 
Successful candidates will be granted a scholarship of up to 
INR 1,25,000 per year.
Eligibility NSP Central Sector Scheme for School 
Students (OBC/EBC/DNT)
To qualify, the applicant must:
 – Belong to the OBC, EBC, or DNT category.
 – Be enrolled in Class 9 to 12 in a public (Central/State/Local Body) or aided school, or a 
private school.
 – Applicant’s family should have an annual income of INR 2,50,000 or less.
