Selection process of Union Bank of India
• Online Examination/Group Discussion: The initial phase involves either an online 
exam or group discussion. The bank decides on the specific test. Candidates must 
exceed the cut-off marks to qualify for the next stage.
• Written Test Format: If conducted, the written test comprises 200 marks to be 
completed in 120 minutes.
• Personal Interview: Successful candidates from the first stage proceed to a 50-
mark interview. Assessment includes professional knowledge, academic efficiency, 
communication skills, and more.
• Cut-off Scores: General category requires a minimum of 25, while reserved 
category candidates need 22.5 to pass.
• Direct Interview: The bank may directly call candidates without a prior 
examination.
• Bank’s Decision: So the bank’s decision in all matters is final.
