What is ACCA ?
• ACCA Course, or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is a 
professional course offered by the global body. It is designed for those 
who want to pursue their career in Accountancy, Finance, and 
Management.
ACCA Course Eligibility in India
• 10, +2 Commerce Stream Students
• Students studying under-graduate courses like B.Com, 
BBA. Also students with B.A/B.Sc with Foundation in 
Accountancy.
• Students studying post-graduate courses like M.Com, 
MBA(Finance)
• Students studying for IPCC, ICWA
• Chartered Accountants who want to boost their career 
with globally acclaimed membership.
Minimum Qualification for a 
student willing to pursue their studies in 
ACCA :
• Qualified in 12th standard with an aggregate of 65% in 
Mathematics/ Accountancy and English, a minimum of 
50% aggregate in all other subjects.
• Should have work experience of a minimum of 3 years 
in a relevant organization – This can be taken up during 
or after the course. 
ACCA Course Duration:
• Students with no prior work experience can finish the 
course with exams in 3 years, during or after which 3 
years of work experience is required.
• Students with prior work experience can finish the 
course in 2-3 years.
• If a student opts for weekday classes, he/she can finish 
the course with exams in 2- 3 years.
• If a student opts for weekend classes, he/she can finish 
the course with exams in 3- 3.5 years.
ACCA Course Certification :
• Students who complete the ACCA Course and pass the associated 
exams can go on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Applied 
Accounting or a Master of Professional Accountancy degree, and they 
will also be prepared for employment in India and abroad. The 
certificate gives students the state of art skills required to accomplish 
their career as prominent finance professionals.
