SJPP is under the administrative control of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Haryana. The polytechnic has its affiliation with the Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE) and is, therefore, bound to maintain the contribution of its academic programs to the quality level of the Board. The college is also recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which shows it also contributes to the quality of education of the nation.
