in style; India lifts the World Cup after 28 years,” gets goosebumps and the very next moment  
fills our hearts with pride. This is the love that Indians have for the game.
To us Indians, cricket is more than just a game of bat and ball played between two teams; it is  
a religion that brings together communities and we celebrate it as a festival.
Furthermore, cricket has evolved much beyond being a gentleman’s game. It has gained a huge 
 fan following and seen some massive transformations, such as the introduction of new forms  
like T20 and other leagues, which have made the game more interesting and appealing to the  
masses. As a result of this introduction, more people wanted to stay up-to-date on game  
developments and to learn more about cricket and its administration.
However, there were very few resources available online for cricket administration.  
Recognizing this gap, IISM took steps to fill it. This is not the first time that IISM has 
attempted  to bridge the gap in the sporting world.
In 2010, IISM identified a huge demand for trained sports management professionals in India  
with no supply. This prompted sports edupreneur Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni to establish IISM with  
a vision to educate sports enthusiasts about a career in sports management and sports science.
Since then, IISM has trained over 2200+ sports management professionals, who are now  
working at some of the top sporting organisations in India and abroad.
During the journey, IISM also discovered that there was a great desire among the masses to
