Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG), formerly known as Khelo India School Games (KISG), is a pan-Indian multi-disciplinary sports competition for the country’s under 17 and under 21 years youngsters. It is the Indian Governments flagship grassroots talent hunt programme. KIUG are the games conducted for the athletes from universities across the country. KIYG currently has 25 sports under its belt, whereas the KIUG have around 20 sports that athletes participate in. Under the Khelo India Program, every year 1000 kids are selected under scholarship and trained for International Sporting Events.
