IISM's Student-Led Cricket Spectacle
At IISM, we cultivate a culture of exploration, encouraging our students to break free from the  
ordinary. In alignment with this vision, Stumps & Sixes emerged as a vibrant student-led initiative  
unveiled during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup India 2023!
Picture this: an exclusive pre-match analysis show meticulously curated by our enthusiastic  
students, capturing the essence of the cricketing spectacle. Stumps & Sixes became the 
epicentre  where every cricket moment found its voice.
Our students delved into the nuances of the matches, presenting insightful pre-match game  
analysis. Behind the scenes, they orchestrated a symphony of excitement, mastering the art of  
show organisation and crafting compelling cricket narratives.
IISM fosters an environment that extends beyond classroom walls, urging students to embrace  
fresh challenges and opportunities. Stumps & Sixes stands as a testament to our commitment to  
hands-on learning, providing an exhilarating experience for aspiring sports and cricket 
enthusiasts.

Mr. Aravinda De Silva at the IISM Campus
It was both an honour and a delightful experience to host Mr. Aravinda De Silva, the distinguished  
inductee of the ICC Hall of Fame, at the IISM campus.
Renowned for his pivotal role in Sri Lanka's historic victory in the 1996 Cricket World Cup, Mr. De  
Silva showcased unparalleled skill in the final match against Australia. His undefeated century and 
 three wickets earned him the coveted 'Man of the Match' award.
A celebrated Sri Lankan batter, Mr. De Silva's remarkable consistency is evident in his 18-year  
international career, marked by an impressive 20 Test centuries, the third-highest among Sri 
Lankan  men's players.
On this momentous occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. De Silva for this 
well-  deserved and significant honour.

Priya Dhabalia Celebrating Success
At The Khelo India Women's League Road Event
At IISM, we consistently encourage our students to  
seize every opportunity to showcase their talents,  
and Ms. Priya Dhabalia stands as the epitome of 
this  ethos!
Priya clinched a Gold medal in the Mass Start 
event  and a Silver medal in the Time Trial event at 
the  Khelo India Women's League Road 
Event,  exemplifying her extraordinary cycling 
prowess and  indomitable stamina.
Your dedication and spirit, Priya, have made us  
proud, highlighting the fact that you are not only a  
brilliant student but also a champion cyclist.
Your journey, marked by dedication and triumph,  
resonates as a beacon for all of us at IISM. We  
eagerly anticipate your continued success and the  
inspiration you will undoubtedly bring to the  
upcoming National Championship in December.

Subrata Gorai Celebrating Success  
At The 37th National Games In Goa
In a momentous victory at the 37th National 
Games  in Goa, we extend our heartfelt 
congratulations to  Mr. Subrata Gorai and his 
exceptional team for their  stellar performance in 
Roll Ball.
Making its debut at this edition of the National  
Games, Roll Ball, a dynamic blend of roller skating  
and handball, witnessed our talented student  
secure an impressive 3rd place among the top 
eight  teams representing India.
This achievement stands as a testament to their  
r e l e n t l e s s   d e d i c a ti o n   a n d   u n w a v e 
r i n g  commitment. As they journey forward, we 
extend  our best wishes for their upcoming 
endeavours. Mr.  Subrata Gorai's triumph resonates 
as an inspiration  to our entire community, 
symbolising the heights  achievable through hard Mr. Subrata Gorai
work and talent.

 Remarkable Feat in Mallakhamb!
In the spotlight is Ms. Anushka Umesh Naik, our  
exceptional athlete, who secured a 
commendable  4th place in the Inter Zonal 
Mallakhamb  Competition hosted by L.S. 
Raheja College of Arts  and Commerce.
This remarkable feat propels her into the  
esteemed Mumbai University Team for the  
upcoming All India Inter University Mallakhamb  
Championship!Wishing her the very best on her  
journey to even greater heights in the world of  
Mallakhamb!

Kshitij Doshi Celebrating Success
At The Maharashtra State Roller Skating Championship
Our FYBSM dynamo, Mr. Kshitij Doshi, glided his  
way to three shiny silver medals in the  
Maharashtra State Roller Skating Championship  
organised by the Roller Skating Federation of 
India  (RSFI). He's not just rolling with it; he's 
racing to  success on those wheels!
We hope he maintains this winning momentum 
as  he gears up for the National Level 
Championship.  Students like him leave a trail of 
inspiration for  aspiring skaters, showcasing that, 
with the right  academic support and coaching, 
anything is  possible.

Uplifting Well-being : Fit India Week at IISM
Recognising the nationwide initiative by the government to promote health and wellness in  
colleges and higher education institutions, IISM proudly took part in promoting Fit India Week!  
Embracing the significance of a healthy lifestyle, the Student Governing Body took the initiative 
to  kickstart this wellness celebration.
At IISM, we deeply value this initiative, recognising the profound impact of a healthy lifestyle. Our 
 commitment to fitness, seamlessly aligned with this endeavour, reflects the vibrant culture we  
foster within our community.
Throughout the week, students came together to revel in the essence of well-being, collectively  
striving towards a healthier, happier future.
