Jeremy Valeriote will seek re-election in West Vancouver–
Sea to Sky in the Oct. 24 provincial election, the BC
Greens announced in a news release Wednesday.
Valeriote announced his intentions alongside party leader
Emily Lowan and fellow MLA Rob Botterell, according to
the release. Botterell will not seek re-election in Saanich
North and the Islands, where Lowan will run instead.
Valeriote won a historic victory in 2024, becoming the first
BC Green to represent a riding on the B.C. mainland, the
release says. He had come within 60 votes of winning the
riding in 2020, before a judicial recount confirmed Jordan
Sturdy as the winner.

Jeremy Valeriote will seek re-
election in West Vancouver–
Sea to Sky in the Oct. 24
provincial election,
continuing his campaign to
represent the riding. Read
