WHY STRETCH
Assisted stretching is a form
of static stretching in which
a ‘flexologist’ (professional
assisted stretcher) exerts gentle
force upon the limb to move it into
a new position, holding it for a
specific amount of time in order to
lengthen and stretch the
muscle fiber and tissue.
This helps to create alignment in
the muscle and body and
contributes to improving
flexibility, increased muscle
control and an expanded range of
motion.

Summer vacation is drawing to an end.
Your last leg of travel home may require
some stretches in your upper body. These
elbow extension motions are enabled by
the tricep muscles and thus it's only right
to stretch them after all that overuse.
Here's a stretch for the triceps and can
graduate to the lats too.
1. Starting from a seated position.
2. Straighten an arm vertically and bend
at the elbow to place your arm down the
back of your head.
3. Place your arm along the line of your
spine.
4. With your other arm, reach across and
apply pressure on the flexed arm.
5. With the hips floor neutral, laterally
bend to the side till you feel a stretch
going down into the side ribcage.
