• Go to ‘My account settings’ 
section by clicking on your 
profile picture at the top right of 
any Match page.
• On the 'Help' section on the left, 
click "Suspend my account" 
• Then, click "To delete your 
account, click here".

HOW DO I ACTIVATE 
MY ACCOUNT?
• We need to make sure you are really you, so we’ll 
send you an email to activate your account as soon as 
you create one. Click the link in the mail and you’re 
good to go – ready to start real stories!
• If you don’t get the activation email within a few 
minutes check your spam folder. If you didn’t, you 
may have mistyped your email address. Try again to 
make sure.
• If you still can’t sort it out, contact Customer Care. 
They’ll be happy to help.

HOW CAN I MAKE MY 
PROFILE INVISIBLE?
• Suspending your profile is a great option if you might need 
your profile again in the future. Here’s how you do it:
• Log into your account via a computer and go ‘My account 
settings’ by clicking your profile picture at the top right of any 
Match page.
• If you think you’ll be away for a while, make sure you cancel 
your automatic renewals first so you don’t continue to get 
charged. You can do so by clicking ‘Manage my subscription’.
• Click ‘Suspend my account’ under ‘Help’ to the left of the page. 
Then click ‘Suspend my account’ to confirm. We’ll send you an 
email to confirm. You can reactivate your account any time by 
clicking on the link in this email, or just logging into Match.

HOW DO I DELETE MY 
PROFILE?
• We hope you’ve found someone special, but whatever the 
reason it’s easy to to delete your Match account and all your 
data. But please don’t do it unless you’re absolutely sure you 
want to lose all your photos, Likes, messages and so on.
• Are you sure? Are you REALLY sure? OK: here’s how it works.
• Just log into your account and follow these simple steps:
• Go to ‘My account settings’ section by clicking on your profile 
picture at the top right of any Match page.
• On the 'Help' section on the left, click "Suspend my account" 
• Then, click "To delete your account, click here".
• Your profile will disappear forever within 24 hours.
