1.Place the router close to the internet. Position your DIR-605L near your 
Internet-connected modem and PC.
2.Keep the router in an open area at your office or home for better wireless 
coverage.
3.Disconnect the modem’s Ethernet cable connected to your computer.
4.Insert the Ethernet cable to the rear end of the D-Link router.
5.Connect the power adapter to the router and connect it to the power supply.
6.You will now see the LED blinking, which means it is powered ON.
7.Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the back of the router and the other 
end of the Ethernet cable to the computer.
8.To initialize the setup of the DIR-605L using Wi-Fi, you have to go to your 
computer’s Wi-Fi settings and select the network name listed.
1.Click on your network and enter the network password.
2.The default credentials will be listed at the back of the router’s user manual. 
3.Open your internet browser and enter the link http://dlinkrouter and press the 
Enter button.
4.You will now be directed to the WELCOME TO THE D-LINK EASY SETUP 
page.

7.Click the AutoDetect radio button, and you will see the message like the one

8.The router will now detect the internet connection and will set your router to its
