account permanently unless you want to.
Step 2:
Firstly, log into your Gmail account using the Gmail address and password.

Click on the gear icon on the right end of the window.

Then select Settings from the menu.
Step 5:
Next, click the Accounts and Import tab.
Step 6:
Choose Other Google Account Settings.
Step 7:
In the Account preferences pane, select Delete your account or services.
Step 8:
Now, click on Delete products. (To permanently delete your Gmail account click Delete Google 
Account and data)
