Parts of the human brain
PARTS OF THE HUMAN
BRAIN
1. THE CEREBRUM
This is the biggest piece of the mind and is made out of both ways
sides of the equator.
It performs higher capacities like deciphering contact, vision and
hearing, just as discourse, thinking, feelings, learning, and fine
control of development.
2. THE CEREBELLUM
This is located under the cerebrum.
Its function is to coordinate muscle
movements, maintain posture, and
balance.
Cerebellum
3. THE BRAINSTEM
This is located under the cerebrum.
Its function is to coordinate muscle
movements, maintain posture, and
balance.
4. LOBES OF THE BRAIN
The cerebral hemispheres divides the brain into
lobes.
Each hemisphere has 4 lobes: frontal, temporal,
parietal, and occipital.
Each lobe has separate tasks for different parts
in the body.
5. CORTEX
The outside of the cerebrum is known as the
cortex. It has a collapsed appearance with slopes
and valleys. The cortex contains 16 billion.
The cortex has a collapsed appearance. An overlap
is known as a gyros and the valley between is a
sulcus.
The collapsing of the cortex builds the cerebrum's
surface territory enabling more neurons to fit
inside the skull and empowering higher capacities.
6. HYPOTHALAMUS
This is situated in the floor of the third
ventricle and is the ace control of the
autonomic framework.
It plays a job in controlling practices,
for example, hunger, thirst, rest, and
sexual reaction.
It likewise controls internal heat level,
circulatory strain, feelings, and
discharge of hormones.
7. PITUITARY GLAND
The pituitary organ lies in a little pocket of bone
at the skull base called the sella-turcica.
The pituitary organ is associated with the nerve
center of the mind by the pituitary stalk.
Known as the "ace organ," it controls other
endocrine organs in the body. It secretes
hormones that control sexual improvement,
advance bone and muscle development, and
react to pressure.
8. THALAMUS
It fills in as a hand-off station for practically all
data that travels every which way to the cortex.
It plays a job in torment sensation,
consideration, readiness and memory.
