1. Applicability
On each Company including its holding
or auxiliary having:
The total assets of Rs. 500 Crores or
more, or
Turnover of Rs. 1000 crores or more, or
Net Profit of Rs. 5 crores or more
An outside organization having its branch
office or venture office in India, which
satisfies the criteria indicated previously

2. CSR Committee
Every Company on which CSR is
applicable is required to constitute a
CSR Committee of the Board:
1. Consisting of 3 or more directors
2. Consisting of 2 directors in case
of a private company having only
two directors on its Board

3. CSR Policy
This includes:
1. List of projects/ programs and their
implementation time
2. Monitoring
3. A proviso mentioning that the surplus
of the CSR ventures will not shape
some portion of the business benefit of
the organization.

4. CSR Activities
The CSR exercises will be attempted
by the organization, according to its
CSR Policy, barring exercises
embraced incompatibility of its
typical course of business.

5. Not to do
The CSR tasks or projects or exercises
not to be considered as CSR Activities:
1. Costs to support just the
representatives of the organization
and their families
2. Commitment of any sum
straightforwardly or in a roundabout
way to any ideological group

The BoD will uncover substance of
CSR strategy in its report and the
equivalent will be shown on the
organization's site, assuming any.

1. Eradicating hunger, poverty
2. Health care and sanitation
3. Promoting education
4. Promoting gender equality
5. Ensuring environmental sustainability
6. Contribution to the Prime Minister’s
