 Japanese video game designer 
Shigeru Miyamoto created the 
epic Video game Mario.
 It is owned by Nintendo, a 
Japanese company. 
Since the character Mario has 
created it appeared in over 200 
video games.
History of Super Mario
Mario has many records in its 
name including Best- selling 
video game franchise of all time.
The character of the Game created 
accidentally.
The creator of the game was 
developing a character of Popeyo 
and end with Donkey kong which 
was the first stage of character 
Mario that was unable to jump.  
Miyamoto’s Mr. Video
Miyamoto, the creator 
of the super game 
Mario originally named 
the character "Mr. 
Video”.
Every game developed 
by Miyamoto had this 
character.
Stages of development of 
Super Mario
1. Mario as Jumpman
 Mario launched on July 9, 
1981, as a Jumpman in 
Donkey Kong.
 The occupation of Mario 
was a carpenter and Donkey 
Kong was his pet.
2. Mario as a superhero
2. Mario enters as a superhero in Super Mario 
during the year 1989–1995.
• He was all set to rescue the princess called Daiszy 
from an alien named Tatanga. 
3. Super Mario in 3D
  In the year 1996 Mario debut with Super Mario 64 
in 3D.
This time Mario had to join Princess Peach for 
Cake Party at her castle.
4. Super Hero Mario
From 2006 onward Mario is famous as a 
superhero.
He rescues princess peach.
During this journey, he passed through eight 
worlds starting from the mushroom kingdom.
5.  Super Mario on 
Television
Super Mario debut in the 
television world with
 an animated television series 
Saturday Supercade.
Several short fun videos 
including other characters from 
the game super Mario appeared 
in the series.
Super Mario- The superstar
Action film Super Mario Bros was 
a debut film of character Super 
Mario played by Bob Hoskins.
Epic game Super Mario will be 
appearing at a Theme park in 
Japan in the section of Super 
Nintendo World.
This is scheduled during the 2020 
Olympics.
