Tadoba National Park, officially known as the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, is one of India’s most prestigious and popular wildlife destinations. Located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, this protected forest is often referred to as the “Jewel of Vidarbha.” Sprawling across nearly 1,727 square kilometers, Tadoba is the largest and oldest national park in Maharashtra, declared a national park in 1955 and later merged with the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary to form a designated tiger reserve.
