by muscle weakness and tightness mainly affecting the legs,
 
resulting in difficulty with balance and coordination when 
walking. 
What are the Causes of Diplegia 
cerebral Palsy?
There are several potential causes of diplegic cerebral palsy, 
including:
1. Brain damage before or during birth, such as from a lack 
of oxygen or bleeding in the brain.
2. Infections in the mother during pregnancy, such as rubella 
or cytomegalovirus.
3. Genetic conditions, such as chromosomal abnormalities or 
mutations.
4. Brain injury during the first few years of life, such as from 
a 
head injury or meningitis.
Treatment for Diplegia cerebral Palsy
Treatment for diplegic cerebral palsy typically involves a 
combination of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, 
as well as assistive devices, medication, 
and sometimes surgery.
 The goal is to help improve motor function, 
reduce symptoms such as muscle spasms, and increase 
independence in daily activities. 
Other therapies, such as aquatic therapy and horseback riding, may also 
be beneficial.
