Who is suitable to undergo the treatment?
When it comes to Lasik eye surgery, there is no right answer but here are some common points to ensure 
whether you are suitable for the treatment or not but obviously, it is your surgeon’s responsibility to determine 
whether it is appropriate for you or not:
● Be at least 18 years of age
● Stable eyeglass and contact lens prescription for at least 2 to 3 years
● Stable vision without a significant increase for the past one year
● Not pregnant
Before the surgery:
● If you wear contact lenses, it is good to stop wearing them before your initial evaluation (3-4 weeks before) 
and switch to wearing your glasses full-time.
● You should tell your doctor about your past and present medical condition.
● The day before surgery you should stop using lotions, creams, makeup, and perfumes.
● Your doctor may ask you to scrub your eyelashes for a period of time to get rid of residues and debris along 
the lashes.
After the surgery:
● After the treatment, your eyes may experience some discomfort; your eyes may itch, burn, or you may feel 
something in it.
