Shatavari can be taken through various stages in a woman's life cycle - from childhood to pregnancy and breastfeeding and beyond. ● For children(girls): Shatavari Doughnuts/Balls For children, parents can make small tasty Shatavari doughnut balls. To make these balls, combine dates, raisins, and figs in a food processor, then add some ratio of this herb to the dough. Mix the mixture and make mini ball doughnuts. The stickiness of all foods will help the Shatavari powder to get bound. Girls can have these mini balls every day as a healthy snack alternative. ● Your Young and Pregnant Women: Shatavari Milk Shatavari milk can be prepared for young women once they reach puberty by mixing half a teaspoon of the powdered herb into one cup of milk (use well-treated cow milk sharing directly from farms or you can use plant-based milk). You can also include a quarter teaspoon of cardamom powder, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric, and coconut sugar or another sugar substitute to add taste.
