How to Care for Your
Himalayan Salt Lamp
Himalayan salt lamps have long
been appreciated for their lovely
pink glow and are thought to
provide health advantages including
regeneration and ionizing the air.
They've seen a particularly large
increase in interest this year. In light
of this, we made the decision to
write a thorough tutorial on how to
maintain your Himalayan salt lamp
and, most importantly, how to
utilize the proper lighting to achieve
the greatest results.
Make Sure You Are Using the
Correct Bulb.
Some owners of Himalayan salt lamps
are unaware that the lamp's internal
light bulb has an impact. If you try to
use a standard LED, the bulb won't
create enough heat for the salt to
"operate"; the bulb needs to be at
least 25 watts in order for the salt to
get hot enough to effect the air. Good
Bulb suggests using our 25 Watt
Himalayan Salt Lamp Chandelier
because of this. This particular bulb is
made to emit just the perfect amount
of heat necessary to atomize the salt in
your lamp.
