BC Hydro opens 22 new EV 
charging ports in Whistler
BC Hydro has opened a new electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Whistler, 
featuring 22 new charging ports. In a press release, BC Hydro said this 
makes it the largest charging site currently within BC Hydro’s network. 
“The new site is located in Day Lot 3 at 4350 Blackcomb Way and includes 
22 Level 2 chargers. These units are some of the fastest Level 2 chargers 
available, and Day Lot 3 offers ample parking for sport-oriented vehicles, 
including over-height RVs and those with roof boxes or bike racks,” the 
press release states.
BC Hydro also has an existing EV fast-charging site with two 50-kilowatt 
chargers at the Whistler Conference Centre at 4010 Whistler Way.
