glass will be ruined. Many car owners 
have a usual practice of washing car 
glass with regular detergents available 
at home which should not be 
followed.

Glass Cleaners

harmful Ammonia. Using chemical-
based glass cleaners can be damaging

people use regular domestic glass 
cleaners, which is again the worst 
practice. Know that regular domestic 
glass cleaners aren't made for 
automobile glass. Cleaners may tint 
your car's glass.
Solution: Opt for chemical-free 
automobile cleaners that are 
specifically meant for windshield 
cleaning.
4. Do Not Use Tissue Papers to 
Clean the Windshield
A primary mistake most people make 
is to clean a car windshield using 
tissue papers or newspapers which is 
a bad practice. It is because tissues 
surfaces are harsh, and they might 
leave scratches. The damage may 
aggravate and you may need a 
windshield repair or replacement.
Solution: Hence, it is advised to use 
microfiber towels to clean your car's 
windshield.
