veterans welfare news
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is pleased to announce the launch of the
Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS), a veterans affairs news online claims submission
system. VBMS is designed to provide Veterans with direct access to their claims and evidence, as
well as improve communication with Veterans and their representatives.
The system is currently in production and is available to veterans welfare with service-
connected disabilities and their representatives. The system will eventually be available to all
Veterans.
To use VBMS, Veterans will need to create a user account. Representatives will also need
to create an account and will need to be designated by the Veteran. Once an account is created,
Veterans and representatives will be able to submit claims, upload evidence, and track the status
of their claims.
