to a "channel" is a group chat, which you can

How to Start a Group Chat:
Launch WhatsApp on your mobile device.
Select the "New chat" icon from the chat list,

Add contacts:
You can now choose which contacts to include
in the group.
From your contact list, you can select. To
include a contact in the group, tap on their

Give group name and keep profile photo:
Now that your group has a name, you can
optionally add a group profile photo.

To form the group, tap the green checkmark.
It has now created your group chat. With the
group members, you can begin exchanging
content and messages.

Joining a Group Chat:
If someone else has created a
group and invited you to join, you
will typically receive a notification
or a direct invitation link

Tap on link notification to join:
To join the group, tap the link or the
notification. As an alternative, you can
launch WhatsApp, select the "Chats"
tab, and potentially receive an invitation
to participate in a group chat.
To join, tap that message.
You can open WhatsApp, select the
"Chats" tab, and then tap the three dots
in the top-right corner to access the
menu if you have the invite link for the
group.
To join the group, select "Join a group,"
then enter the invite link.

WhatsApp Channels has begun rolling
out but isn’t available to everyone yet.
Establish a channel on WhatsApp to
communicate with your followers
directly and share updates.
Open a channel.
Launch WhatsApp Web, then select the

section.
Select Plus > Channel Creation.
