Hyderabad is the ideal city to build a career for digital marketing professionals with a 
wide variety of jobs in the digital marketing space. Google is here, so is Facebook. 
Amazon is here. Linkedin is owned by Microsoft and Microsoft is one of the oldest 
company setup in Cyberabad. There is a lot of job roles in Hyderabad for digital 
marketing. Every year thousands of jobs are created in the digital marketing space in

If you combine the e-commerce space especially with companies like Amazon located in 
Hyderabad, the number of jobs almost double. Not to forget Flipkart, Bigbasket and 
many other speciality retailers who operate in the city.

Amazon India recently inaugurated its largest company-owned campus, worldwide, in 
Hyderabad. The Amazon India Hyderabad Campus is the only one outside the US. 
15,000 its employees from over 62,000 of its India team will work in this campus. The 
new campus is spread over 9.5 acres, and is its largest tech base outside the Seattle 
headquarters, which has about 155,000 contract employees. Telangana is home to 
one-third of Amazon’s total India employee base across six offices, including the new 
campus building. Its Amazon’s largest campus in the world. Amazon already has three 
fulfillment centres in Telangana state.
As mentioned earlier Facebook is in Hyderabad in addition to Apple Corporation, 
LinkedIn and several others.

Hyderabad City in Brief
Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana State, which is one of the newly formed states of 
India. The city is located in Southern India and is roughly in the center of India. East of 
Mumbai and North East of Bengaluru and South West of Chennai. Hyderabad is an old 
city having a history of 400+ years. At an altitude of 542 meters over sea level, the 
terrain is hilly dotted with many lakes. It is a large city with about 9.7 million people 
covering a distance of 650 square kilometers. It has a working metro that helps to make 
commute easy for those commuting to the Cyberabad area. The Hyderabad 
International Airport is located in the extreme South West of the City and is close to the 
Cyberabad area.

There are a variety of job roles available in the digital marketing area. These include 
website development, SEO, SEM, SMO, Graphics design and animation, corporate 
videos and training materials. In addition, there is content creation and email marketing. 
As can be seen, there are a wide variety of job roles to choose from. There is no 
shortage of opportunities or type of roles.
Cyberabad / HITEC city – South West Suburb famous as outsourcing hub
The South Western part of the City called Cyberabad is the hub of outsourcing. Also, the 
city has consistently attracted large corporations to establish their campuses. Further, 
the employer companies range from many industries Infotech, Pharma, Financial, 
Telecom, Retailing and Digital marketing off course! Even IKEA, the Swedish furniture 
company chose to establish its first outlet in Cyberabad. Lastly, there are dozens of good 
malls having modern retail outlets and multiplexes.
