versatile and reliable device used primarily
for motor protection. It provides essential
protection functions like thermal overload,
phase unbalance, phase reversal, and earth
fault protection. The P921 relay is part of the
MiCOM P92x series, designed for easy
integration into various industrial
applications. Its advanced features include
configurable I/O, multiple communication
protocols, and user-friendly software
interfaces, making it a robust solution for
safeguarding motors in both medium and
low-voltage networks.
FEATURES
• TMonitors and protects motors from
overheating due to excessive current
or prolonged operation.
• Detects and mitigates issues related
to phase unbalance and reversal,
which can cause motor damage.
• Provides detection and protection
against earth faults, ensuring motor
and system safety.
• Allows for customization of the
relay’s functionality to meet specific
application requirements.
• Supports a range of
communication protocols,
including Modbus, IEC 60870-5-
103, and DNP3, for seamless
integration into existing systems.
