Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM) Market
Static random-access memory or static RAM or SRAM stores data bits in the memory only when a power source is applied to it. The
memory is designed to provide an interface with the CPU which is difficult to be provided using DRAMs. One of the advantages of this
memory is that it can access data with relatively high speeds and is suitable for use in low-power applications. Although this memory can
operate at high-speeds, it is expensive to manufacture SRAM owing to their complex internal structure. Apart from this, the applications
of SRAM can be seen in hard drives as disc cache, digital cameras, modem, routers, printers, compact discs (CDs), and digital versatile
discs (DVDs).
