Couples' marital counseling is usually not covered by insurance.
However, it's essential that you contact your insurance company
directly to learn about your mental health/behavioral health
benefits. Only "medically necessary" services are covered by
insurance. When one or both couples are diagnosed with a mental
health issue, insurance usually covers conjoint therapy. In this
situation, virtual relationship counseling is offered in the
presence of a support person with the purpose of alleviating
