Boris Timarac worked with the Detroit 
Department of Transportation for around 
15 years. He held several positions 
including as an Automotive Researcher 
from 2007 to 2013. Boris Timarac has a 
variety of certifications including in 
Hybrid Electric Vehicles and also Master 
Automotive and Heavy-Duty Truck 
Certification from the State of MI.
Experience Working in Maintenance Division
Boris Timarac moved to Detroit 
with his family as a child and 
began working in the automotive 
field in 1984. In total, Boris 
Timarac over 25 years of 
experience working in 
automotive and transit vehicle 
and maintenance division. 
Outstanding Business Person 
Boris Timarac has won several awards 
during his time working in the 
automotive industry including the 
Outstanding Business Person of The 
Year for Macomb County. Boris Timarac 
now works for a Fortune 500 company 
and is enjoying every minute of it.
Help Feed Local Homeless People 
Boris Timarac worked with the Rosa 
Parks Transit Center to help feed local 
homeless people around Thanksgiving 
and Christmas time. He has also 
partnered with a local non-profit church 
group.

trained automotive professionals via 
the Department of Labor and won
