ABOUT SERVICES
SEED COLD STORAGE: It is also called as cryogenic storage. Seeds are placed in liquid nitrogen at -196°C. 
Seeds are actually placed into the gaseous phase of the liquid nitrogen -150°C for easy handling and safety.
FOOD COLD STORAGE: It is called as a facility that primarily stores food items that are short-lived and highly 
likely to get spoilt under normal conditions.
PHARMA COLD STORAGE: Many pharmaceutical drugs, medicines and speciality treatments are 
temperature-sensitive and require swift supply chains. Cold chain storage and distribution provides a reliable 
mechanism to maintain the integrity of the drug substances and products.
BIOTECH LAB: Biotechnology is technology that utilizes biological systems, living organisms or parts of this to 
develop or create different products.
SEED LAB: The Seed Science Center administers the Iowa State University Seed Laboratory—the largest public 
seed testing laboratory in the world. The lab offers testing services for more than 300 species of crops, vegetables, 
flowers, and trees, and tests for more than 350 pathogens.
GERMPLASM BANK: The Germplasm Bank is a collection of live plant matter, in the form of seeds
