He was born on February 2, 1966 in Odessa.
Ruslan spent his childhood in Odessa. Here he graduated from the middle school in 1982. 
As  for  higher  education,  he  studied  at  the  Mechnikov  National  University  and  received  a
diploma of a manager.

His first commercial ventures started when “perestroika” began in Russia.
Ruslan began to gain leadership experience at the age of 21. From 1988 to 1997, he managed
several companies operating in the light industry (Roskhim, Roteks 66, etc.).
Since 1993, he collaborated with the “Kuznetskie Ferrosplavy”, and in 1997 became one of the
managers of this company. 
Due to this experience, he managed to enter the market of suppliers working with the largest oil
and gas enterprises of the Russian Federation, established useful and important contacts.
In 1998, Ruslan Goryukhin, together with his partners, became the founder of the “Northern Gas
Highways”.  This organization collaborated with Gazprom and worked on large-scale projects
related to the laying of gas pipelines.
Realizing the need for high-quality logistics in this area of activity, Ruslan created a logistics
group that was working with suppliers of raw materials, Gazprom, Rosneft, Tatneft and other
large companies. These were the highest quality logistics services since they cooperated with
reliable manufacturers only.
No wonder, in the spring of 2008, Goryukhin was appointed CEO of Stroygazmontazh (SGM).
The company needed a leader and organizer with such experience and recognition. Thus, he
received leadership over a number of construction companies that are part of the SGM. Each of
these is considered one of the leading companies in the oil and gas economic sector of Russia.
As the head of the SGM Ruslan Goryukhin was able to conclude several profitable
contracts, thanks to which the company received huge profits.  He had been working in this
company for 6 years.
Among other things, in 2007 Ruslan Goryukhin became the founder of “Promgazresurs Trading
House” LLC. He concluded the first contracts of this company for the supply of large diameter
pipes.
The company worked until 2013 and during the period of its activity cooperated with Gazprom
subsidiaries,  supplying  pipes  for  the  construction  of  the  South  and  Nord  Stream.  As  for
equipment  manufacturers,  it  collaborated  with  Uraltrubostal,  Chelyabinsk  Pipe-Rolling  Plant,
OJSC OMK-Steel, Vyksa Metallurgical Plant, etc.
Business and Real Estate
Another type of  business that  Ruslan Goryukhin began to do in the late 90s is  real estate
investing.
At  first  he tried to invest  in  a small  commercial  real  estate  and the results  occurred to be
positive.
Therefore, in the mid-2000s, Goryukhin invested most of his income in large commercial real
estate in Moscow. Just at that time, there was an acute shortage of high-quality commercial real
estate, and its market value was growing. Thus, it was possible to obtain large rental income.
From 2013 to 2015, Ruslan led the “Rodnoy Gorod-Development” company (created by him),
which was engaged in the construction of residential buildings.
Social activity
As a talented organizer, Ruslan Goryukhin manifests himself not only in business.
He is very active as a public figure.
In particular, it is known about his chairmanship as president of the Russian Karate Federation
Ashihara Kaikan. By the way this fact points to one of Ruslan’s many hobbies – going in for

The year 2010 was marked by the presentation of the prestigious Person of the Year award to
Goryukhin.
Awards  from environmental  activists  did  not  pass  by  also.  In  particular,  the  award entitled
“Ecologist  of  the  Year”  was  awarded  to  Goryukhin  at  the  competition  “100  Best  Russian
Organizations”.
2012 was marked for  the  hero of  our  story by his  election  as  one of  the members of  the
Presidium of the European Business Congress.
In  2013,  he  was  invited  to  head  the  “New Gas  Industry  Technologies”,  an  association  of
equipment manufacturers with direct support from Gazprom.
Another personal hobby of Ruslan Goryukhin is the shooting range. Not surprisingly, he also
runs the Impuls Gunnery Club.
For more than 12 years, he has been practicing yoga.
Modern time  
In 2014, 4 daughters of Ruslan Goryukhin were born, and he decided to leave business projects
in Russia and move to his family in Switzerland in order to pay more attention to his children.
Today, he mostly focuses on passive investments in real estate, stocks and bonds.
Most of the time the happy father devotes to his 5 children, wife and is actively involved in
charity work.
