wallets and purses. But if you run a business, receipts are vital pieces of information that you
must keep track of! Not only will you need receipts to maintain accurate accounting, but you
can also get tax reductions from the Income Tax Department if you have your physical
receipts.

Different Types of Receipt Templates

we can use it by exporting the receipts in pdf format to submit, email or print it for company
reimbursement purposes. Different type of Receipt Template is listed below:
Rent Receipt: It is the receipt that contains the name of person paying, address of
property, amount of rent, how it was paid such as money order and when it was paid.
It should be signed by landlord or agent.
Cash Receipt: A cash receipt template is used at the end of a sale. It uses data from
the sale and acts as proof of purchase. It usually includes the business name and
address, the customer’s name, address, the date of the sale, a description of what was
sold, and the amount paid for the item. It may also include mode of payments such as
cards, cash or cheque.
Donation Receipt: When a donation is made, a receipt or thank you letter stating the
amount is always sent out to the donor. A donation receipt template includes the name
of the organization that received the donation, the name of the donor, the amount
donated, and when the money was received.
Taxi: A taxi receipt template is issued by taxi drivers. It verifies how much the
passenger paid, how far they traveled, and where they traveled.
Deposit: A deposit receipt documents how much money someone put into an account
or paid as a down payment on property, a vehicle, or another item that will be paid
out. This receipt includes the name and address of the two parties, how much amount
paid, the type of deposits, the date the payment was made, and it should be signed by
the person receiving the deposit.
Hotel: A hotel receipt template records of how much someone pays to stay in a hotel.
A hotel template includes name of guest and contact address, the name and address of
the hotel, the date the hotel receipt was issued, the period of the stay, the name of the
employee issuing the receipt, the total amount paid, and how the payment was made.
