here they prepared a light adjustable intraocular lens for cataract

Dr. Jack Kavanaugh Formed Amerident
Making a career in private financing, he did not leave his passion for the 
medical field and completed M.D. from U.S.C. and even his surgical 
residency at U.C.L.A’s Jules Stein Institute. During the primary year of his 
residency, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh formed Amerident, which was awarded 30 
awards for 
community service and a state congressional medal of honor for work with 
infants.
