• Superior Wear and Abrasion Resistance: High-carbon chromium significantly 
increases hardness and wear resistance in hardfacing deposits. It keeps surfaces 
intact under heavy abrasion and extends component life.

corrosion resistance where operating environments are harsh. This makes it a 
dependable choice for demanding industrial duty.
• Core Alloying Input for Welding Consumables: It is widely used in welding electrodes 
and flux-cored wires. It adds the chromium and carbon needed for hard, durable 
weld overlays.
Applications and Quality
• Proven in Mining and Material Handling: Hardfacing electrodes such as CCR-
200 rely on it to protect equipment in abrasive service. Typical parts include 
crusher teeth, excavator blades, mixer blades and coal handling equipment.
