Ferro Niobium - Composition & Core Role
• High Niobium Content: Contains 60-70% niobium (min. 65% Nb per spec), 
making it a concentrated alloying source. Controlled limits on C, S, P, Si, and 
Al ensure consistent metallurgical quality.
• Key Alloying Agent in Welding: Serves as a crucial additive in welding 
electrodes and flux-cored wires. It's engineered to work seamlessly within 
the electrode's chemical matrix during the welding process.
• Improves Weld Pool Behavior: Enhances weld pool fluidity for smoother, 
more even deposition. This directly translates to cleaner welds with reduced 
defects.
