The Jackson County Hospital District Emergency Medical Service The Jackson 
County Hospital District Emergency Medical Service (JCHD EMS) operates 3 Mobile 
Intensive Care Units (MICU) ambulances to serve the citizens of Jackson County. 
Working with other responders in the district, the JCHD EMS mission is to provide 
professional, state-of-the-art pre-hospital care with an emphasis on customer 
service.
Laboratory services
The Jackson County Hospital Laboratory is available 24 hours per day / 7 days per 
week and offers many testing options for our community members. The Lab offers 
complete blood counts, basic chemistry tests, coagulation studies, urinalysis, 
therapeutic testing, drug testing for Non DoT and DOT, blood alcohol testing, flu 
test, RSV test, pregnancy test, thyroid test and much more.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy The Jackson County Hospital District offers inpatient and 
outpatient therapy for post-surgical, post illness and post-accident patients. 
Sports Therapy is also offered which focuses on agility and plyometrics.
