Basics of Diabetes Management Classes Come learn
the basics of diabetes management at our classes held
the second Thursday of each month in the Jackson
County Hospital Conference Room from noon to 1 p.m.
This free educational class is led by Dr. Diana Mercado,
a board certified family physician who specializes in
diabetes management.
We want you prepared for emergencies, so take our first aid
and CPR course available each month at 6:30 p.m. at Jackson
County Hospital Conference Room. Classes are designed for
general public, day care workers and babysitters. Healthcare
provider courses are also offered. Register by calling 361-782-
7800. Registration fee: $45 (registration must be paid in
advance and is non-refundable).
