Growing up in Michigan, Michael Wallace played basketball, soccer, baseball, ran track, and practiced martial arts. He is a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings, University of Michigan football, and of course Navy Football. Visit :-

Trident Scholar
In 2014, he graduated as valedictorian, and
accepted an appointment to the U.S. Naval
Academy. Set to commission from the USNA in
2018, Michael Wallace was named a Trident
Scholar, a Schwarzman Scholar, a Marshall Scholar
finalist, Academics Officer for the Brigade, and a
winner of Chinese study-abroad scholarships.
Michael loves sports, working out, reading, trying
new restaurants, traveling, and personal investing.
Sandia National Laboratories
During his time as a Navy Midshipman,
Michael Wallace was named a Trident
Scholar, Schwarzman Scholar, and the
Academics Officer for the entire USNA
Brigade. Wallace interned in California at
Sandia National Laboratories, researching
strategies for nuclear weapons non-
proliferation, and in Shanghai at a
multinational, anti-corruption professional
services firm.
Mandarin Chinese Minor
In his years at the Academy, Wallace earned a
4.0 GPA, was selected as a Trident Scholar and
Schwarzman Scholar, while working toward an
undergraduate degree with an Honors
Operations Research major and a Mandarin
Chinese minor. He also won multiple
scholarships for study abroad programs in China.
Graduated Valedictorian
Michael Wallace, a native of Taylor, Michigan,
graduated valedictorian from U of D Jesuit in
Detroit, and continued his education by
accepting a congressional appointment to the
U.S. Naval Academy in 2014.
