and several types of polymers are among those that the laser can cut. Etching can be done on 
a wide range of materials, including glass, marble, stone, tile, wood, cardboard, aluminium, 
stainless steel, and plastic.

Etching
Etching is a technique used to etch text, logos, and images into 
materials including glass, crystal, and stone. This procedure produces 
stunning engraving on items like vases, crystal awards, barware, trays, 
marble pieces, wine and spirit bottles, and paperweights.
Laser engraving
Lettering, logos, and designs can be engraved with a laser into a range of 
materials, including leather, coated metals, wood, acrylic, and stone. The laser 
engraving procedure is frequently used to engrave items like acrylic awards, 
wooden picture frames, pet urns, rifle stocks, marble coasters, chopping 
boards, iPad covers, portfolios, and name badges.

Hollow engraving
The picture is created by mechanically or chemically scratching a metal matrix, leaving the 
sections of the paper that come into contact with the non-white areas blank while the dark 
portions of the image correspond to the incisions where the ink will be deposited. The space is 
emptied, which is the inverse of what happens with embossing. The hollowing procedures are 
divided into two categories: direct method procedures (where the engraver makes incisions on 
the plate to trace the picture) and indirect method procedures (where the impression is created 
on the plate using chemical agents).

substituted by different photographic processes.
