Mr. R.R. Martin is a Director of 
Group Lease Public Company Ltd. 
Group Lease is one of the leading 
finance companies in ASEAN 
providing leasing and micro 
finance services targeting the 
rural and unbanked population in 
emerging markets and is now one 
of the Unique Corporation in the 
region with a strong presence in 
most of the ASEAN markets such 
as Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, 
Indonesia and Myanmar. The 
company is listed on the Stock 
Exchange of Thailand.

Mr. Martin joined Group Lease 
in 2014 as Business 
Development Manager, and 
then was promoted as Senior 
VP for Finance and Business 
Development of Group Lease 
in 2015, acted as CFO in April 
2016 and he has worked 
extensively on the expansion 
of Group Lease in all new 
ASEAN markets.

Mr. Martin has now been 
working in South East Asia for 
almost 10 years since he moved 
to Cambodia in 2008 as Senior 
Auditor for the audit firm 
Morrison Kak and Associes in 
Phnom Penh.  He also worked as 
Investment Portfolio Manager for 
Devenco, a boutique Venture 
Capital company in Cambodia. 
In addition, Mr. Martin provides 
teaching of financial analysis to 
a class of Master students as the 
Royal University of Law and 
Economics   in Phnom Penh for 
several years.

Prior to moving to South East Asia, Mr. 
Martin worked as auditor for 
PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Paris, as 
Sales Forecast Controller for L‘Oreal 
Paris and at the French Ministry of 
Economy of Finance.  
Mr. Martin is a graduate of the Paris IX 
Dauphine where he received a Master 
of Art in International Business and 
Master of Science in Applied 
Economics.
Mr. Martin joined the Board of 
Commercial Credit and Finance PLC in 
December 2016.
