              Why AC leaks water 
1. Damaged Drain Pan 
   Your drain pan is situated under 
your indoor air handler     ( which 
houses your evaporator loop) 
and gets any condensation from 
your air conditioner. With the 
unit killed, assess your drain pan 
and pipe for spills. The pipe is 
typically connected with your 
drip pan and releases the 
condensate outside. 
2. Dirty  Air  Filter 
    A dirty air channel blocks 
wind flow over the 
evaporator coil.  At that point, 
the evaporator loop gets 
excessively cold and freezes 
over. When it melts, it drips 
an abundance amount of 
water that the pan will be 
unable to deal with. 
3. Low  Refrigerant 
   Like a dirty air filter, the low 
refrigerant will bring down 
pressing factor in the AC 
system, causing the evaporator 
loop to freeze over. At the point 
when the coil melt, water 
overflows the drain pan. 
    Conclusion
