Gift Nifty is an index derivative product offered at the GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). It allows global and domestic traders to take positions on the Nifty 50 index outside India’s standard trading hours. Because it trades almost round-the-clock, Gift Nifty acts as a real-time indicator of market mood before the Indian stock market opens.
