Carbideburrbits are ideal for soft metals such as
gold, platinum, and silver because they don’t
chip or crack with time. They’re even
used for things like:
Steel, steel Gold, Platinum &
& chrome Silver Ceramics

Aluminum Brass, Copper
Titanium & Bronze

Nickel Wood,
etc.
Types of Carbide Burrs
(On Basis of Uses)
Various types of carbide burrs are used
for different Uses:
Carbide Balls Burrs
It’s a carbide burr in the shape of a
ball or spherical that’sused to hollow
out a neighborhood and create concave
cutsin the material or
structure.
Carbide Burr Tree
It’s mainly used to make concave
cuts and round offcorners. Using the
pointedend to cut in hard- to-
reach areasand around sharp-
angled contours.
Carbide Burr Inverted Cones
Inverted cone-shaped tungsten
carbide burr bits were used to
achieve V-cuts and rear side
chamfering.
Carbide Pointed Cone and
Carbide Round Nose
Ball Nose Burrs are suitable for squared edges
and surface finishing in hard-to-reach
areas with deep angles and contours.
Cylinder Burrs (End
Cut/Round Nose/Ball Nose)
It’s used to complete contours. Contour finishing
is possible with a cylinder ad infinitum cut (flat on
top with no cutting edge).
