It’s mainly used to make concave
cuts and round  offcorners. Using the
pointedend to cut in hard-  to-

angled contours.

It’s used to complete contours. Contour finishing 
is  possible with a cylinder ad infinitum cut (flat on 
top  with no cutting edge).
