• Carry on the necessary personal safety equipment (PPE). PPE 
such as safety glasses, goggles, or a face shield is required. 
Other personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, a 
dust mask, and an apron should be worn as required.
• Investigate the wheels for gaps or damage before using them.
• Examine the machine's speed and record the maximum speed.
• On lightweight cut-off wheels, install proper flanges.
• Place the wheel shield between the driver and the steering 
wheel as a measure.
