One of the highlights of Hot Frosty is how it manages to be cheesy without being silly. There's a real warmth here, and an approach that handles grief and healing with care without being too heavy-handed. It's a pretty rare balance for a Christmas movie. There's nothing crazy about analyzing grief, but the film handles the subject with a gentle touch. This balance was appreciated for me, allowing me to empathize with the characters while still maintaining the tone of the film. A story about a snowman that comes to life.
