CHENNAI METRO RAIL LTD
The Chennai Metro is one of the most advanced rapid transit systems in 
India, with both underground and elevated sections. Driven by a highly 
progressive outlook, Chennai Metro wanted to avoid non-environment 
friendly inks on their car bodies. They also wanted the graphics to be 
highly fire retardant (as per European norms), keeping the safety of the 
passengers as top priority. Collaborating with 3M India, AGX met the 
stringent requirements of Chennai Metro, which resulted in the first metro 
rail in India to practice “Green Graphics” for their coach branding.
