BATTERIES
AMCO Batteries Limited is an automobile and commercial battery 
manufacturing company headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a 
part of Amalgamations Group, one of India’s biggest light engineering 
groups. Started in year 1932 by Becken Bain, a German national, today 
AMCO is the leading supplier of two-wheeler batteries to companies like 
Honda, Hero Motor Corp, Bajaj Auto, TVS, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, 
Mahindra Two Wheelers etc. It also supplies four-wheeler batteries to 
TAFE Tractors, Eicher Tractors, Sonalika Tractors etc. The product profile 
of AMCO includes Automotive, Inverter, Genset and UPS Batteries.

THE ASK
• Maintain uniformity of brand color & quality.
• Create a concept to make outlets look like exclusive brand outlets to 
deliver a competitive advantage.
• Showcase nationwide presence focusing on North east region.
• Display the brand in battery mechanic shops.

THE SOLUTION
• We centralized the printing work to maintain consistency and adhere 
to brand guidelines.
• To get an edge over the competition, we created a Premium Retail 
outlet where the focus was not only signage but on displaying AMCO 
products & information on the surfaces.
• We leveraged our large network of over 150 associates to provide time 
and cost-effective logistics.
• We developed certain elements for everyday use by battery 
mechanics, e.g. retractable awning with AMCO branding. Apart from 
this, a lit sign board of AMCO smart point with attractive design was 
installed.
