ABOUT ALAN CEDRICK
Alan Cedrick is the Executive Vice President of 
Strategy and a member of the executive 
committee at Ergo Partners. His team is 
responsible for establishing the company 
strategy and identifying and implementing 
essential initiatives to support our expansion. 
Alan received his Master of Business 
Administration from the Wharton School of the 
University of Pennsylvania, where he was a 
Palmer Scholar, and his Bachelor of Science in 
Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
AS THE VP OF STRATEGY, MR. CEDRICK IS 
RESPONSIBLE FOR STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP AND 
PLANNING AT ERGO PARTNERS. HE USES A WIDE 
RANGE OF INSIGHTS AND INFORMATION TO 
DEVELOP STRATEGIES NOT ONLY FOR THE 
COMPANY AS A WHOLE BUT ALSO FOR SPECIFIC 
PARTS OF IT, SUCH AS SALES OR ENGINEERING. 
MR. CEDRICK’S PRIMARY GOAL IS TWO-FOLD: 
IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES, CHALLENGES, AND 
RISKS, THEN DEVELOP PLANS TO ADDRESS THESE 
CHALLENGES.

His role as a VP of Strategy is to drive the direction and road map for Ergo Partners. 
Alan Cedrick takes a bird’s-eye view of the company, looking at where it needs to be and 
figuring out how to get there. His role requires the development, implementation, leadership, 
and support of all new strategies, and, importantly, the communication of those to all 
employees.
He focuses on evaluating and interpreting 
market research, analytics, and customer 
data. Mr. Cedrick works closely with the 
executives to determine what he should 
pursue in terms of business development 
like acquisitions and joint ventures, as well 
as where he should focus their marketing 
efforts. He also performs financial 
modelling to assess the viability of new

His main responsibility often lies in making sure all of 
their strategic targets and actions are moving in a 
direction that will help Ergo Partners be successful. 
From strategic planning to analyzing the strategist plan, 
he must make the right decisions when it comes to 
creating new strategies for the company. Mr. Cedrick is 
in charge of creating strategies that move the company 
forward. This means he is responsible for creating 
plans, analyzing and executing those plans, and 
providing input on how the company should be run.
