Network camera referred to as the IP camera in the video surveillance system, captures data and shares it over the internet. The network cameras unlike the analog closed-circuit television (CCTV) do not have a local recording device but uses a local area network to send it in the secondary storage. The network cameras have the property to be directly accessed by the network and are mostly used for the purpose of surveillance for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
